One lucky Moree family picked up the keys to their brand new car after winning the Gwydir Industries’ 2018 Dancing with the Stars major raffle.
The 2017 Holden Barina Spark was raffled off as part of the fundraising for this year’s Dancing with the Stars event, with all proceeds going to Gwydir Industries.
The winning ticket in the car raffle belonged to the Carroll family, who were over the moon to find out they were the new owners of the 2017 Holden Barina Spark. Peta Carroll purchased one ticket when they were being sold at Moree Twilight Races in December and said she certainly did not expect to win.
All up, about 3000 tickets were sold in the car raffle, which went a long way in adding to the more than 120,000 raised during this year’s event – by far the most ever.
